We came this time last year [mid February] and loved it, so we came back again! Cottage was great, and we had some fun days out on bikes and riding horses! We recommed the Oak at Bank for great food and Prezzo's in Lyndhurst for hot chocolate!

Lovely cottage with everything you need. Weather has been great and it's nice to stay here a bit later than usual when everything in the forest is in bud and bluebells in flower.

Wonderful cottage - clean and beautifully presented in an ideal spot. Our young children loved the ponies on the door step each morning and evening. Longdown Activity Farm excellent day out, Owl & Otter centre disappointing. Swanage great little beach and stunning views. Portsmouth worth a visit. Lymington fabulous. Chinese take away in Brockenhurst fantastic. Thanks!

Impressed by house - very clean and comfortable - maybe another saucepan and a washing basket would make it perfect! Loved animals grazing outside - shame a horse had the petunias in the window box for lunch. Great lunch at The Hobler, day trip to Isle of Wight, Buckler's Hard. We would recommend and hope to return.

Delightful cottage, beautifully clean and in perfect surroundings. Shame about the rain, which put paid to our walking - but didn't keep us in. Good food in the Snakecatcher. We're sure we'll be back!
