We had a truly wonderful New Year here - lots to do and see and loved the beautiful walks on the door step!!!

Claire, Steve & Tom, Hindhead, Surrey.

A very relaxing end to the holidays. A cosy and welcoming cottage in a great location, despite dreadful weather!

Gordon & Dorothy Phillips from Lancaster.

Same as above - weather dreadful - BUT cottage warm and comfortable (despite awful noise from boiler). Lot of nice walks. Russell-Cotes Museum in Bournemouth good value on a very wet day.

[Gordon you will be pleased to know that when we upgraded the kitchen we have now built a cupboard around the boiler and you can hardly hear a thing]

Stuart, Jane, Anna, Ella & Lara. Hever, Kent.

Had a fantastic week. House ideal, very comfortable and great location. Chinese take away excellent.

Brilliant cottage, loved the walking on the doorstep (although very muddy at times!) Recommend the long (9 miles ish) walk up to the Old Oak? pub at Bank and back.

Lovely comfortable cottage. Good food at Hobbler on Lymington Road and Red Lion at Bolder. Also good Italian Il Palio by the railway station Nice to be able to walk and cycle through Forest from cottage.

A superb comfortable clean cottage. Ideally situated for touring the forest and surrounding areas. Recommend a visit to Exbury Gardens. Also Blackwater on Rhinefield Drive for walks around the arboretum and tall trees.

Loved staying in the house. Did not see a lot as I have been on a training course. Would like to return again some time.

Wayne, Sharon, Lauren & Ryan Jeffery, Somerset.

Very nice house, nice views and walks. Weather a mixed bag. Otter and Owl Sanctuary good, so is Adventure Wonderland opposite Hurn Airport for under 12s. Meal at Hare and Hounds, Sway OK but had better. Nice relaxing holiday, made a nice change!

Enjoyed staying once again in this lovely house. Weather was very wet sadly everyday. Still enjoyed walks in forest with 7 year old son - even saw deer. Motor Museum at Beaulieu enjoyable.

A lovely cottage. Weather has been very wet but we enjoyed our stay in Brockenhurst and surrounding New Forest. Loved the ponies and foals. Best Pub in Village Rose and Crown.

Kate, Nick and Dan. Bexleyheath, Kent.

Have really enjoyed our time in the New Forest. It's been perfect for us because our little boy is only 9 months old and all the places of interest are only 10 mins away! Loved the house too!

Lucy O'Neill & family. Maidstone, Kent.

Perfect location, facilities - an all round great week!

Yvette, David, Ella & Poppy. East Dulwich, London.

Lovely cottage very clean and cosy. Rained every day but made the most of the holiday. Ella aged 2 really enjoyed Longdown Farm and fed calves, goats and pigs.

Paul, Marie, Nikki & Beth Toulmin.

We loved the cottge, especially the colour of the bin! Its pink. We also loved the train station cafe down the road. The only thing the cottage is missing is a lock on the bathroom.

Sarah, Chris, Adam & Daniel. Corby, Northants.

Lovely weather and lovely cottage. Would recommend Southbourne beach - beautiful and sandy. Also Paultons Park if you have younger children. Lovely location too with the horses etc.

A lovely cottge and friendly community. There are brilliant cycle paths and we loved the horses and deer. Shame about the weather but overall a fantastic holiday.

Cottage excellent - even a bag and a windbreak for the beach! Recommend Royal Oak at Bank and High Corner Inn at Linwood. Beaches at Highcliffe are good and not too busy.

Lovely cottage in a great location. Better than we hoped for! Great facilities, comfortable sofas and our little one loved walking up and down the hallway! So peaceful as well. Would definitely recommend it and thank you for a great week.

We had a lovely week in your lovely cottge. Recommend The Hobbler to eat.

Jacqueline, Robert, Olivia & James Parker. Bath, Somserset.

Great short break, gorgeous blue sky and sunny days. Superb cottage ....only needs a few more kitchen knives and a shaver socket .... otherwise perfect. Fitted in Beaulieu, walk to Hurst Castle from Milford on Sea, Lymington Saturday market, Lyndhurst Tea Shop, walk in forest and horse riding. HAD FUN!

[We do usually have a shaver adaptor in the dressingtable drawer - it must have gone home on the end of someones shaver, sorry. Its been replaced now and I hope you weren't too inconvenienced!]
